Eagle Owl and Hawk Owl Class attended the Indoor Athletics Tournament at Forest Hall School. There they took part in different field and track events including: long-jump, triple- jump, relays, over and under, obstacle, speed bounce and chest push.
Children from Eagle and Hawk Owl Class went to Dunmow leisure centre on Friday afternoon to take part in our local swimming gala. The events included freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly, backstroke, medley relay and freestyle relays. Everyone swam brilliantly and there was a real team spirit on the sidelines from Manuden.
Our Netball team hosted a match against St Mary’s Stansted last Tuesday.
It was a very tight match with our team playing their very best and for the first two quarters
We were ahead but in by the end, St Mary’s just managed a lead by 3-5.
Mrs Grant would like her team to know “Well done team – I am very proud of how you conducted yourselves throughout the match!”

Following on from our successful performance a few weeks ago at the local cross country, 21 children attended the level 2 cross country at Carver Barracks.
Well done to everyone that took part, the standard of running was high. We are very proud that 3 girls have got through to the level 3 competition: Florence, Evie and Allegra.
Eagle Owl class went to Forest Hall School to take part in a dodgeball competition. Two of our three teams finish in second place and the whole class worked brilliantly together in a very quick paced game.
Well done to Wilson, Ted and Fletcher who took part in the Open Bentfield Cross Country on Friday 13th October.
Wilson came in 2nd in the Year 2 race, Ted 4th in the Year 5 race and Fletcher 4th in the Year 6. Very impressive running boys. Well done.

On Friday Afternoon Hawk Owl Class participated in the Uttlesford Mixed Skills event at Forest Hall secondary school. Their netball, football, hockey and athletic skills were put to the test and it was very tiring for all involved. They really gave it everything they had and enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the (unexpected as it was) October sunshine. Well done to everyone and thanks again to all that were able to help with supervision and transport.
Our Boys Football team played against Birchanger Primary on Thursday 28th September.
Despite a great effort from Manuden, we lost 8-3.
